FibreShapesystem -length analysis of rCF / glass

The FibreShape CROSS system consists of an A4 scanner with sample feeder, a laptop and the FibreShape CROSS software. The FibreShape CROSS software allows the analysis of crossing stiff fibers. FibreShape can be used for incoming inspection of the length and width of rCF (recycled carbon fibres) or glass fibres, but also for checking the fibre length as part of the processing chain.

Details

A special feature of FibreShape is the broad analysis spectrum. It is possible to Length measurements of fibers with 3 μm to 20 cm length and fineness measurements from 2μm to 1mm can be performed (SEM images not considered). A further attention is the variety of fiber materials that can be analyzed with FibreShape. Specific adaptations for different fiber types are considered in the software. The FibreShape testers allow the measurement of fiber lengths, fiber fineness and also fiber shapes and their statistical evaluation according to different methods according to ISO 9276.
