HACK-CMP Think Tank Die Projektfabrik GmbHWe are the think tank of "Die Projektfabrik GmbH". The Project Factory is a virtually organized entrepreneurial network of 340 international experts. The company is owned by the two founders Petra and Klaus Schwägerl, self-employed since 1989. There are no employees since 2003. We are internationally active our primary focus is on the financial industry, but we can also draw on our references from the hotel industry, telcos and logistics.
The idea for a crisis management solution came to Klaus Schwägerl in 2010 after the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. In the same year, the concept of a crisis business management game was honored by the Initiative Mittelstand as a top 20 solution among 2,000 applications.
The think tank HACK-CMP was founded on the occasion of the Covid Pandemic. Currently we are 28 experts from 16 nations, all operating on a voluntary basis until we find investors.

Customer Problem
We find that both policymakers and companies are overburdened with the task of recognizing crises in good time and taking proactive countermeasures.
We need instruments as quickly as possible that can help us prepare and professionally manage or mitigate crises. At present, we are fatally reacting instead of acting.
Our goal is to show dependencies and to offer our customers a metaverse crisis management platform on which they can learn realistically and immersively how to behave correctly in crisis situations or to recognize potential dangers in time to mitigate an impending crisis. Similar to a pilot who trains in a flight simulator with all possible incident scenarios without being exposed to danger himself.
We are also planning a metaverse serious game and an 8-step training program to train future crisis managers and use them as task forces in crisis situations.Business Model
The business model is a Platform as a Service model. We have had experience with this since the end of the 90s of the last millennium and also solutions that have won innovation awards.
Technology Description
We only use open source software. However, we are a closed source project.
