We develop and manufacture customer-specific magnetic round connector solutions.

Even for the demanding hygienic requirements in medical technology, magnetic plugs can score points. By implementing a magnet in the plug, a self-guiding connection takes place, so that even difficult plugging situations, without great force, can be easily overcome. Even 360° rotatable mating solutions, as with round plugs, are possible. The contact surfaces can be designed extremely flat and small, so that no depressions and grooves, as with conventional contour plugs.

Charge and signal currents are transmitted by integrated spring contacts, which, depending on the model, allow charge currents of up to 13A per pin. Due to the direct overmolding with plastic or a sealing with elastomer materials, the designed magnetic connectors achieve a protection class of up to IPx8. The magnetic connection is shock and vibration resistant and ensures proper and safe operation. Mechanical wear due to frequent plugging and unplugging, is virtually eliminated. Also, damage to the device by an unintentional pull on the cable, is prevented by the magnetic-defined release mechanism.
